7. DOWNTIME & RECOVERY
The Labyrinth consumes all things. Survival is a measurement of what you are willing to lose to keep moving.
7.1 Stir the Embers (Camping)
You may attempt to find sanctuary between exploration events.
- The Discord Check: Perform a Discord Check (See Rule 4.1). The world shifts as you pause.
- The Camp Roll: Roll 1D10 + Spirit (SP) vs the updated Discord Value.
- Success (Total > Discord Value): Restore 1D10 HP (up to Hard Cap). You may also roll CFT vs 6 to repair Damaged Gear.
- Failure (Total <= Discord Value): Sanctuary breached. No HP restored. The next event is automatically an ENEMY encounter.
7.2 Sub-Table D: Discovery
Roll 1D10 + Discord Modifier (Rule 4.2).

| 1 – 8 | CONSUMABLE | Soothe-Wrap (Restore 4 HP), Discord-Bane (-2 to Modifier), or Ghost-Step (Auto-Flee). |
| 9 – 10 | RARE GEAR | Sun-Stone (+1 Attribute) or Void-Claw (+1 CV, +1 CORR). |
| >= 11 | RELIC | Game-changing artifacts that may alter Discord rules (e.g. Frozen Heart). |
